He is survived by: his wife Emma Jeanne Freeman Carruth; his son Robert Cavan Carruth; his daughter-in-law Kate Bowie Carruth; his grandson Hayes Bowie Carruth of Dripping Springs, Texas; his daughter Lori Jeanne Carruth Gonzalez; his son-in-law Ramiro Gonzalez Jr.; his granddaughters, Bobbi Penelope Gonzalez and Stevie Hope Gonzalez of Spring, Texas.; and his nephews, Neal Carruth, William Carruth and James Carruth.
