He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ann Benjamin; his children, Reanna Benjamin and Rodderick Benjamin (Amondria); his grandchildren, Tate Blumrich and Aurora Benjamin; his siblings, Eugene Benjamin (Mable) of Lafayette, Alton Benjamin Jr. of Lafayette, Donald Benjamin, Sr. (Crystal Bell) of Lafayette, Barbara Martin (Clarence) of Lafayette, Shirley Thibodeaux of Texas, Brenda Jones (Floyd) of Cypress Island and Carolyn McCain (James) of Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Laura Palmer (James) of Valdosta, Linda Borel (Perry) of Breaux Bridge and Jacqueline Martin of St Martinville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace and Truth Ministries of Lafayette (800 Jefferson Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
