It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Edward Brown in Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helena Wolsifer Brown and Edward Brown; his nieces, Sheila White of Houston, TX and Shawn White of Montpelier, VT; his siblings, Homer Dale White, Jr. and Mary Helen Whorton; and his wife Barbara Shake Brown (Janie).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in the name of Ronald Edward Brown be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or an animal charity organization.
