He was predeceased by: his parents, Oles Dartez and Ruby Broussard Dartez; his former wife Patricia Lynn Pierce Dartez; and his brother Gerald James Dartez. He is survived by: his wife Neppie Dartez; his stepdaughters, Shawn Russo (Mark), Shannon Richard (Shawn) and Shelly Landry; his cousin Maxime A. Verot (Anita); his grandchildren, Hailey Faul, Braden Doucet, Noah Richard and Garret Russo; and his great grandchild Katherine Grace Aranda.
