He is survived by: his children, Normajean "Beth" Segura of Breaux Bridge and Dale Vercher of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Morgan Breaux and Mason Breaux; his siblings, Phyllis Crochet (David) of Lafayette and Johnny Vercher of Butte Larose; and his stepparents, Howard Humphrey and Pat Vercher.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
