It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Mae Broussard Batiste (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew Batiste; her parents, Andrew Broussard and Mable Broussard; her sisters, Lillian Dupre and Mary LasSaint; her son-in-law Clarence Zenon; her great grandchild Landon Zenon-Grogan; her siblings-in-law, Herbert Watson Jr., Albert Batiste and Ezola Broussard; and her siblings' children, Lynette Dupre, Lynn Dupre and Duriel Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Paulette Zenon (Clarence), Ramona Plumbar and Patrick Batiste (Lavonna); her stepdaughter Donna Noel (Demetrius); her siblings, Gaston Broussard (Ezola), Wesley Broussard (Barbara), Russel Broussard (Barbara), Vivian Joseph (Floyd) and Marcella Gabriel (Harrison); and her siblings-in-law, Clausey Batiste Jr., Allen Batiste, Oscar Batiste (Patricia), David Batiste (Patrice), Rebecca Watson (Herbert), Roxanne Batiste (Frank) and Nancy Robert (Marcus). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a. m. All those in attendance must wear a mask or face covering.
