Rettig of New Orleans; her grandchildren, Stephen Bourgeois (Lacey), Kristin Foreman (Jason), Cacy Foreman (Mireya) and Lauren Rettig (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Emily Grace Bourgeois, Karson M. Thibodaux, Jade Foreman, Saide Foreman and Robin Rettig-Lee; and her sister Mildred Richard.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (102 N Church St, Carencro, LA 70520).
