She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Trahan and Gladys Trahan; and her siblings, Verline Broussard, Joyce Granger Dantin, Sylvin Bunn, Gwendolyn Trahan Ewing and Rusty Trahan.
She is survived by: her son Michael William Bodin (Karen); her sister Judy Mouton (Glenn); and her niece Celest (Kirby Andrus). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Shelly to St. Jude's, an organization she often gave to whenever she could.
