She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Porter and Vorena Celestine-Porter. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Porter of Lafayette, LA.; her brother Raymond Porter of Inglewood, CA.; her sibling's children, Monica, Machelle, Felicia, Wanda, Eboni, Alexandra Porter, Whitney Jr. and Brian Porter; her aunt Florence Batiste; her uncles, Robley, Rannie, Fred, Ernest and Paul Celestine; and her sister-in-law Barbara Porter. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews and other relatives.
