It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Carol Marie Mathews (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Betzinger and Lucille Betzinger; and her son George Anthony Harteau. She is survived by : her husband Vernon Mathews; her children, Connie Sanders and David Hedstrom; her grandchildren, Jesse Brazier, Bo Sanders, Nicole and Corey Hedstrom; and her pet Toby. She is also survived by four great- grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

Sue would be honored for any donation to be made to Trinity Bible Church, 130 E Broussard Rd, Lafayette LA 70503.
