He is survived by: his niece Louise (Amos Batiste, Jr.); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan, Tyler Batiste, Brandon Chapman, Naseyani and Khylee James; his godchildren, Khalia Irons and Karlee Taylor; and also Forqueena James. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
