She is survived by: her children, David Sturm (Tracie) of Lafayette, Phillip Sturm (Kristie) of Scott and Lori Lavergne (Donahue) of Arnaudville; her grandchildren, Brady Sturm, Jonathan Sturm, Alexandra Doucet (Grant), Leslie Buller (Brennan), Allison Lavergne, Emily Sturm, Erin Sturm and Owen Sturm; her great grandchildren, Eliza Doucet, Blaire Buller and Libby Buller; her sister Catherine Pyeatt (Len) of Austin, TX; her nieces, Amy Edwards, Melanie Thompson and Julie Sturm; and her nephew Jay Pyeatt.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
