He was predeceased by: his parents, Vina Corkin and Louie Gary; and his sister Myra Gary. He is survived by: his daughters, Tara Derouen (Ron) and Danielle Huval (Buck); his grandchildren, Mike, John, Aaliyah, Mallory, Isabella, Gabriella, Aliana, Charlie, Helena, Ayla of Carlos, EJ, Josiah, Nyomi and Anami; and his siblings, Dan, Wayne (Sabrina), Paul (Diane), Glen Gary, Rachelle and Pat.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Maxie Cemetery (118 Arbor Rd, Crowley, LA 70526).
