She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Stutes; her parents, Nita Boudreaux Himel and Edras Himel; and her children, Richard Stutes, Kenneth Stutes, Ronnie Stutes, Lanny Stutes, Patsy Stutes and Ramona Scherer.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Stutes of Lafayette, Donna Stutes of Breaux Bridge, Wanda Hill of Cullman, AL, Tim Stutes (Karen) of Prairieville, Greg Stutes (Ana) of Lafayette and Randy Stutes of Lafayette. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren.
