It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Temple of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter C. Hadley; her son-in-law Rodney Girlinghouse; her grandson Joseph Monroe Harvey; and her siblings, Otis Temple, Thomas Temple, Troy Temple, Velvie Temple Barfield, Dewey Temple and Ludie Temple Mota.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Girlinghouse and Wanda Hadley; her grandchildren, Wayne Harvey (Jaimie), Rebecca Jones (Stephen) and Melissa Girlinghouse; and her brothers, Artis Temple, Howard Vel Temple and Roger Temple. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
