She was predeceased by: her parents, Melanie Benoit and Lanny Benoit; and her brother John Benoit. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Dan" DeRouen, Sr. of Lafayette; her sons, Robert DeRouen, Jr. (Sandra) of Breaux Bridge and Dean DeRouen (Nancy) of Maurice; and her siblings, Judy Guilbeau (Donald) of Lafayette, Helen Vincent (Chester) of Youngsville, Gail Richard (Donald) of Youngsville, Thomas Benoit (Delores) of Carencro, Patrick Benoit of Lafayette and Lenny Benoit (Evelyn) of Milton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
