He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Lawrence and Mable Simon Chappuis, Sr.; his daughter Michelle Chappuis Broussard; and his sister Rose Marie Chappuis. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Jane Stromer Chappuis of Lafayette; his children, Ryan Chappuis (Lisa Smith), Yvette Kent (David) of Sunset, Simone Pitre of Lafayette and Jacqueline Chappuis of Lafayette; his son-in-law Robert Broussard of Carencro; his grandchildren, Brittany L. Spurrier, Michael L. Broussard, Christina John, Courtney Pitre Dugas, Katherine Pitre, Mason Chappuis, Brice Chappuis, Luke Chappuis and Alec Alleman; and his extended family, Dwight Kevin Pitre of Lafayette and Terri Chappuis of Maurice. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
