He was predeceased by: his wife Fay Ann Cutitto Clark; his fathers, Virgil Page Clark and Marvin Belle White Clark; and his siblings, Helen Lee Surles and Raleigh "Gene" Clark.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Clark Guidry (Keith) of Lafayette and Scott Clark (Jackie) of Grand Prairie; his grandchildren, Reagan, Justin Guidry, Tyler and Olivia Clark; his half-brother Herman "Rock" King, Jr. of Hendersonville, NC; his brother-in-law Rudy Mills of Perdido Key, FL; and his niece Carla Mills of Little Rock, AR..
