Wanda Stowe King Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Stowe King of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jewel and Christine Stowe (York); her son Alan Turner; her sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Linda Colcord and Barbara Jones; and her aunt Wilma Broome.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry King; her granddaughter Anna Turner; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Bacque Turner; and her siblings, William Stowe, Jerry Stowe, Jimmy Stowe (Julie), Marion Arceneaux (Jody) and Beverly Langlinais (Ryan). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home (1414 S Main St, Henderson, TX 75654). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tatum Cemetery.
