He is survived by: his children, Charrisse Kaplan (David Johnson), Jeremy Kaplan (Michell Kaplan), Joshua Kaplan (Angela Kaplan) and Jordan Kaplan; his grandchildren, Maggie, Haley and Gail Johnson; and his children, Bowie, Fenix, Digby Kaplan and Adelynn Kaplan.
A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lafayette Jewish Cemetery (1254 Lee Ave, Lafayette, LA 70501).
