With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Mark Azore (Lafayette, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Azore and Irene Azore; his wife Cheryl Christian Azore; and his siblings, Agnes Azore and Reginald Azore.
He is survived by: his children, Tawana Jackson (James Sr.) and Montrail M. Azore of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Alyrie, Montrell, Christin, James Jr., Isaiah, Elijah and Fayden; his siblings, Linda Fontenette (Felix), Phyllis Azore, Darlene Martin and Oscar Azore; his siblings-in-law, Joann Toliver, Leslie Davison (Douglas) of Houston, TX, Raymond Christian (Theresa) of Houston, TX and Steve Christian of San Antonio, TX; and his goddaughter Vickie Simon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (326 S Washington St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
