We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 85, Wise Wardsworth of Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzie Wardsworth and Jeff Wardsworth; his son Jean Wardsworth; his siblings, Norman "Happy" Wardsworth and Mary Lou Wardsworth-Howard; and his stepson Calvin Lee Collins.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine J. Wardsworth; his children, Jimmy Wardsworth, Valerie Belinda Wardsworth Bell, Kenneth W. Wardsworth (Betina), Gloria Michelle Wardsworth Singleton, Casey Wordsworth, Denise Collins, Deliza Montgomery (Phillip), Corine Ward (John) and Ronnie Collins (Deidra); and his siblings, Aaron Wardsworth (Kate), Ramey Williams and Alice Malcolm Burrell (Pernell). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
