We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2025, at the age of 60, Rodney Paul Schouest of Lafitte, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert "Sugie" Schouest and Carolyn Boudoin Schouest; his siblings, Herbert Schouest Jr. (Patricia), John Schouest, Robert Schouest (Karen), Mickey Schouest (Victoria) and Consuelo "Connie" Boudreaux (Craig); and his parents-in-law, Kerry Rojas and Cathy Rojas.
He is survived by: his wife Darleen Rojas Schouest; his children, Shealyn Lori Darda (Kyle) and Rodney Paul Schouest, Jr. (Emily); his grandchildren, Kollin Darda, Kamden Darda, Kyle Darda and Eliza Schouest; and his siblings-in-law, Allison Pizani (C. J.), Kerry Rojas, Jr. (Edna) and Kylie Mamolo (Troy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072).
