He is survived by: his wife Gloria Vega O'Blanc; his children, Brian O'Blanc (Stori) of Lake Arthur, LA, Cathy Young (Chuck) of Lafayette, LA, Angela Sherwin (Joseph Cotton) of San Diego, CA and Kevin Sherwin (Stephanie) of Junction City, KS; his sisters-in-law, Susan Filson (Jerry) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Jolene Vega of Sierra Vista, AZ and Betty O'Blanc; his nieces and nephews, Milton O'Blanc, Jr. (Renee), Patricia Bertrand, Pam Commander (Buddy), Paula Roy (Scott) and Jed O'Blanc (Brenda); his grandchildren, Philip Thibodeaux (Holli), Kendalyn Hebert (Sleighton), Brian O'Blanc, Jr., Robyn Mancuso (Taylor Svitak), Austin Sherwin, Jared Sherwin and Garon Keener; his great grandchildren, Ellie Hebert, Guy Hebert, Abigail Shuey, Baelyr Thibodeaux, Braxton Thibodeaux, Grace Mancuso, Allie Mancuso, Jayden Baldwin, Audreyanna Baldwin, AdaLynn Baldwin and Yalina Svitak; and his great great grandchild Willow Breaux.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Miguez Funeral Home - Lake Arthur (829 4th St, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A rosary was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (203 Commercial Ave, Lake Arthur, LA 70549).
