With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chris Skrantz of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, born in Jennings, Louisiana, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Dale Skrantz; his grandson Mason; his grandparents, Bea, Audrey, Jules Murray and Emery Skrantz; and his uncle Donald Murray.

He is survived by: his wife Angie Skrantz; his mother Linda Skrantz; his children, Katelynn Daigle (Aaron), Christian Doucet (Lane) and Joshua Skrantz; his grandchildren, Noah, JuJu, Luke, Waylon, Nolan and Stetson; and his siblings, Heather Skrantz and Kevin Skrantz.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home - Lake Arthur (829 4th St, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Andrus Cove Cemetery.
