It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Benoit of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Benoit and Mamie Broussard Benoit; and his brother Larry Benoit. He is survived by: his children, LaDonna Benoit (David Trahan), Shannon Wright, Charlotta Benoit (Matt), Dharma Trahan (Joel), Bridget Perkins (Darin), Jason Benoit and Kevin Benoit (Shannon); and his siblings, Dolores Bossley (Gerald), Roger Benoit (Nancy) and Steven Benoit (Carolyn). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home - Lake Arthur (829 4th St, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
