He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Dickie" Chapman and Maxine Canik Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Sue Bellard Chapman; his children, Allison Istre (Beau), Craig Chapman (Ashley) and Amy Fluitt (Jacob); his grandchildren, Ella, Emme, Anna, William, Westin, Taeghon and Avery; and his brothers, Harold (Janice), Freddie (Dawn) and Michael Chapman.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home - Lake Arthur (829 4th St, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM.
