He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Fitzgerald and Anna Mitchell Fitzgerald; his stepson Joseph Dugas; and his nephew Anthony David. He is survived by: his wife Gail Fitzgerald; his siblings, Cheryl David and Matt Fitzgerald; his grandchildren, Zoiee Dugas, Kohen Dugas, Jayden Sonnier and Brycen Sonnier; his nieces, Mary Ellen Sweeney and Meaghan Williams; and his nephew Scott Fitzgerald. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
