She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Liggin and Ruth Liggin. She is survived by: her husband JW Hellums, Jr.; her children, Jay, Rachel (T. C. Judd) and Kara Shoemaker Elter; her brother Michael Liggin; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Judd, Abby Speeg (Drew), Hana Judd, Clark Judd, Kai Hellums and Will Hellums. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
