He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Harmon and Cinderella Harmon (Poullard); his siblings, Mack, George, Wanda and Joyce Ann; his children, Shelia and Bryant; and his great grandchild Kamryn.
He is survived by: his wife Birdie Bushnell; his daughter Stephanie; his daughter-in-law Lori; his grandchildren, Tiffanie, Danielle, Hailey, Erika, Lindsey and Kolby; his great grandchildren, Christian, Kayden, Brynley, Ethyn, Bradleigh, Gavin and Jewels; his grandchildren, Mario and Brionna; and his brothers, Larry, Walter and Tim. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the King's Funeral Home (1611 Gerstner Memorial Dr, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A rosary was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (2031 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A burial was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (2646 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA 70615).
