She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Marck Smythe and Anne Bonham Smythe; and her grandparents, Faye Kerlin Bonham, John Aubrey Bonham, Elsie and Fred Smythe (Patrick Louis Cox).
She is survived by: her son Alexander Bonham Owen; and her sister Susan Faye Smythe.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
