We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2023, at the age of 77, Bertha Buckley of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Singer, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Prater and Ollie Mae Nelson Prater; her grandson Caymen Buckley; and her sister Rose Jordan. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Smith (Leonard) of Lake Charles, Rolonda of Lake Charles, Trinika Buckley of Lake Charles, Arthur Buckley Jr. (Doris) of Houston, Sherman B. Buckley Sr. (Lawanda) of Lake Charles and Richard D. Buckley of Lake Charles; and her brother Larry Prater of Houston. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
