In the sacred silence of farewell, Bruce is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Bruce's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Monroe Tolar and Ada Mae Bain. He is survived by: his children, Bradley Tolar, Christy Tolar (Brandon) and Allie Anderson (Myles); his grandson Connor Tolar; his sister Laura Tolar; the mother of his children Susan Tolar; and his close friend Kathy Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Louisiana State University at giveLSU.org in honor of Bruce's lifelong passion for architecture and Tiger baseball/football pride. Those wishing to honor his contributions to the Gulf Coast may also consider donating to a local Ocean Springs civic or historic organization.
