She was predeceased by: her parents, John Easton Savoie and Elizabeth Domingeaux Savoie. She is survived by: her siblings, Cora Savoie Carter, Rufus Savoie, Marjorie Savoie Brown and Easton Savoie; her children, Joseph Charles Carter, Mary, Melissa Carter Owens (T. Michael Owens) of Lake Charles, Martin Carter (Ora) of Zachary, LA, John Carter (Jennifer) of Lake Charles and James Alfred (Trina) of Eunice, LA.; and her sister-in-law Curley Jean Savoie Tanner. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
