She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Richard and Mattie Coleman Richard; her husband Jessie Victorian; and her siblings, Charles Richard, Sabra Bell and Diane Leday.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terra Beloney (Joseph) and Melissa Richard; her siblings, Adrian Rubin (Bobby), Tina Richard Joubert (Steven), Michelle Freeman (Michael), Tracy Joseph, Walter Richard Jr. and Lloyd Richard (Dewanna); and her grandchildren, Javonte Richard (Kelsie), Dawnshene Broussard (Marcus), Aujene Beloney (Darius Jones), Ahmad, Jeremiah, Shalise, Shatina, Shanna and Joshua Richard. She is also survived by great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home (1801 Moeling St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
