We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2026, at the age of 62, Cindy Bates of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Cindy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Cindy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Griswold and Constance Griswold; and her brother Jeffrey Griswold. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Morgan (Jolee Belflower); her grandchildren, Phillip Morgan (Baylee Thomas), Kassidy Griswold and Paxtyn Belflower; and her great grandchild Emberly Pike. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
