She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa "Callie" Dillard and Wiley Douglas "Doug" Dillard; her husband Hodges Cormier Sr. of Lake Charles; her daughter Gwendolyn Jean Jasmine; and her godson Kirk Edwards.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Cormier (Tammy) of Lake Charles, Hodges W. Cormier, Jr. of Lake Charles, Michael Cormier (Debbie) of Mesquite and David Cormier of New Orleans; her foster son Carlton Stevens (Pamela) of Lake Charles; and her goddaughter Yolanda Browder of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two foster grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
