Though David Alan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Alan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Gorham and Edward Llewelwn Spikes; and his brother Jimmy Gorham. He is survived by: his children, Justin Gorham (Karen), Christian Gorham and Jessica Gorham; and his siblings, Donna Goss (Wesley), Sharon Venable (Bobby), Gary Gorham and Stuart Gorham. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at 276 Old Hwy 171, Lake Charles, LA 70611. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Goos Cemetery.
