She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Berard, Daphne Berard Higginbotham (Darrell Sr.), Leon C. "Puncho" Berard Jr. and Manuel "Keith" Berard Sr. (Shelia); her sister Betty McCray Young (West); and her sister-in-law Alicia McCray. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
