With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Yvonne Williamson of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Doris may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Ray Colley and Jessie Blanche Romero; and her great grandchild Jessica "Jess" Laine Wheat. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Hampton (Scott), James Williamson (Rachel) and Darren Williamson (Debbie); and her sister Barbara Kirkland. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, her 16 great-grandchildren and her 2 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Toro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Pentecostal Church of Westlake.
