He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stinson and Mary Whitman Stinson of Lake Charles, LA; his grandparents, W. C., Lillian Whitman of Lake Charles, LA, Elmer Stinson and Charlotte Zuckweiller of New London, CT; and his sister Dorothy Jones of Moss Bluff.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Stinson-Darr, Holly (Jeremy Ardoin), Patrick R. Stinson of Fredericksburg, VA, Michael (Kimberly Stinson) and Ashley (Jack Milheim); his siblings, Donna Reed of Moss Bluff, LA, Dawn Thibodeaux of Texas, Drew Stinson of Shreveport, LA and Darin Stinson of Lake Charles, LA; and his uncle Charles Whitman. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as lifelong friends.
