It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edley Milton Hixson Jr. of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edley M. Hixson, Sr. and Elizabeth Long Hixson; and his son Edley. He is survived by: his wife Susan Abell Hixson of DeRidder; and his children, Dallas Long Hixson and Cindy of Alexandria. He is also survived by his family and friends.
