He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolton Richard and Ethel Ozane Richard; his son Edward Lee Richard Jr.; his grandson Jordan Richard; his siblings, Andre Richard, Kevin Richard, Eric Carver and Zoila Richard; and his sister-in-law Barbara Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Ashley Richard, Asia Groothoff, Breanna Groothoff and Cody Richard; his siblings, Mary Chatman, Larry Richard (Carol), Nolan Richard Sr., Harry Richard, Michael Richard (Monique), Lerron Richard (Susan), Mitchell Richard (Scherron) and Eric Richard; and his grandchildren, Kaden Johnson, Mariah Richard, Jacob Richard and Lee'Asia Groothoff. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
