She is survived by: her children, Dianna Augusta, Veronica Lewis, Sabrina Lewis and Rev. Derrick Lewis (Matilda); and her siblings, Patricia Valerie, Oscar Lewis, Eddie Lewis, Sr. and Willie Pearl Lewis (Regniald). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt Calvary Baptist Church (300 N Blake St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Combre Memorial Park (2701 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA 70615).
