With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Esther Luanne Wire Brown of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in Berryville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Brown; and her parents, Rev. Bernard Wire and Dorthea Wire. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelli Higginbotham and Lisa Perkins (Greg); her grandchildren, Lauren Gautreaux (Julian), Kristin Higginbotham (Ryan Whittington), Coleman Perkins (Audrey) and Cade Perkins; her great grandchildren, Madelyn Gautreaux, Ava Gautreaux and Hazel Perkins; and her siblings, Eldon Wire, David Wire (Brenda), Ruth Briscoe (Johnny) and Carol Coose (Alfred). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association.
