Mitchell; her brother James Carroll; her sister-in-law Marjorie Ellis; her sisters, Ellender (Harvey Burrow), Margaret (J. D. Robinson) and Lula Bell (Bill Livingston); her brothers-in-law, Boss (Catherine Mitchell), Hayes (Madge Mitchell), Drexel (Maureen Mitchell), Paul (Ann Mitchell) and Hoover (Imogene Mitchell); and her son-in-law Paul Wojcik.
She is survived by: her children, Gladys Wojcik and Steve Mitchell (Cathy); her grandchildren, Christy Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell (Brittany) and Lori Murphy (Jason); her great grandchildren, Luke Mitchell, Lyla Murphy, Captain Mitchell, Graham Mitchell, Jack Murphy and Mya Murphy; Greg Ruth and Nash Ruth.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
