She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Anthony Dupuis and Ida Lafleur Dupuis; and her sister Mary Helen Lejeune. She is survived by: her sister Carroll Ritter of Moss Bluff, LA; her children, Tad Chenet (Rhonda), John Chenet (Carol), Susan Chenet and Mary Carol Chenet; and her great grandchildren, Mikah, Everett, Olivia, Jonah and Caleb.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (812 Kirkman St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please give a donation to her beloved First Methodist, and in her honor, sing "My Favorite Things," "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "What a Wonderful World," or a favorite hymn whenever you need to feel her radiating presence or God's beautiful spirit.
