She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Arceneaux, Sr. and Emily DeBlanc Arceneaux; her son Matthew Alleman; her significant other Herbert Alleman of Rayne, LA; and her sisters, Emily "MeMe" Arceneaux and Therese Arceneaux.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Alleman (Angela) of Lafayette, Rebecca "Becki" Chaisson (Marc) of Lake Charles and Emily Wharton (David) of Baton Rouge; her brothers, Leon Arceneaux, Jr. and George Arceneaux of Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Whitman Alleman, Ashlin Wharton and Madison Wharton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in her name to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of the Monastery of Mary, Mother of Grace in Lafayette.
