She is survived by: her son James Thomas Jr. (Sharon); her grandchildren, Jaime Thomas, Robert Thomas, Stephen Johnson (Roxanne), Sedric Johnson (Alana), Joshua Louis and Joshua Louis II; her great grandchildren, Jaylin Thomas, Rachel Rigmaiden, Roland Rigmaiden, Serena Joanus (Guinove), J. T. Compton, Sania, Sedric A., Lea, Chloe and Jordon Johnson; and her great great grandchild Giavanna Joanus.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church (910 N Shattuck St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Combre Memorial Park (2701 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA 70615).
