He is survived by: his children, James "Sonny" Nixon and Kissney Traub (Michael); his grandchildren, Alexandra Pearl Ardoin, James Michael Traub, Kodi Elena Traub, Jace Dylan Nixon and Conner James Nixon; his great grandchildren, Lennon Pearl Watson and Landri Lynn Traub; his sister Bonnie Gutierrez (Tony); his niece Natasha Gutierrez; and his nephews, Shane and Cory Gutierrez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (340 E Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
